INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Tuesday, September 28, 2021, Clinton County had 1 additional death related to COVID-19 while 10 additional residents test positive for COVID-19, 5,415 residents in total have tested positives for COVID-19. There are now 67 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 87,625 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 22,593 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.
The death is reported to have occurred on Friday, September 24, 2021.
The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 24.3% as of September 21, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 18.9%.

The ISDH shows a total of 13,182 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series (an increase of 15 over the previous report) and 13,131 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 16 over the previous report) with 950 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. Statewide, 3,243,907 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 3,254,662 are fully vaccinated with 249,577 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine as of 9/27/2021 at 5:00 a.m.
Additionally, the ISDH announced that 2,378 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 956,548 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.
To date, 4,176,673 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 4,170,864 on Monday.
