Update (8/2/21): 7 New Clinton County Residents Tested Positive For COVID-19 As Reported By The ISDH

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Monday, August 2, 2021, Clinton County had 7 new residents test positive for COVID-19, 4,617 residents in total have tested positive for COVID-19. There are 55 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 71,576 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 20,334 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 22.0% as of July 26, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 15.2%.

The ISDH shows a total of 12,203 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series (an increase of 50 over the previous report) and 12,176 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 41 over the previous report) with 889 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. Statewide, 2,944,357 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 2,954,416 are fully vaccinated with 223,468 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine as of 8/2/2021 at 5:00 a.m.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 616 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 774,097 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

To date, 3,678,614 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 3,669,635 on Friday.

The Regenstrief Institute updated hospitalization data as of August 1, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. for Clinton County. Data are unique individuals and cumulative.

Statewide Deceased: 13,570 (2%)
