INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Thursday, August 12, 2021, Clinton County had 28 new residents test positive for COVID-19, 4,764 residents in total have tested positives for COVID-19. There are 58 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 74,882 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 20,708 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.
The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 19.0% as of August 5, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 18.2%.

The ISDH shows a total of 12,153 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series (an increase of 49 over the previous report) and 11,959 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 40 over the previous report) with 872 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. Statewide, 3,009,691 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 2,996,750 are fully vaccinated with 228,625 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine as of 8/12/2021 at 5:00 a.m.
Additionally, the ISDH announced that 3,186 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 794,077 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.
To date, 3,731,553 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 3,723,245 on Wednesday.
The Regenstrief Institute updated hospitalization data as of August 11, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. for Clinton County. Data are unique individuals and cumulative.
