The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today Tuesday, August 11, 2020, Clinton County has had 5 additional new positive tests, 444 residents have now tested positive for COVID-19. One new death has been reported, there are now 4 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 5,731 residents of Clinton County have been tested as reported by the ISDH.
The rolling 7-day positivity rate for Clinton County is 12.3% as of August 4, 2020. The State of Indiana as a whole is 7.7%.
Additionally, the ISDH announced that 884 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and private laboratories. That brings to 75,862 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.
A total of 2,863 Hoosiers have died to date. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by ISDH and occurred over multiple days.
To date, 861,655 tests have been reported to ISDH, up from 852,111 on Monday.
