INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Thursday, July 29, 2021, Clinton County had 13 new residents test positive for COVID-19, 4,574 residents in total have tested positive for COVID-19. There are 55 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 70,759 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 20,241 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.
The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 20.3% as of July 22, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 13.9%.
The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 8.4% as of July 22, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 6.7%.
The ISDH shows a total of 12,096 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series (an increase of 32 over the previous report) and 12,047 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 59 over the previous report) with 876 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. Statewide, 2,923,037 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 2,939,841 are fully vaccinated with 221,904 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine as of 7/29/2021 at 5:00 a.m.
Additionally, the ISDH announced that 1,284 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 769,875 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.
To date, 3,664,843 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 3,661,081 on Wednesday.
The Regenstrief Institute updated hospitalization data as of July 28, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. for Clinton County. Data are unique individuals and cumulative.
