INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Wednesday, June 23, 2021, Clinton County had 3 new residents who tested positive for COVID-19, 4,435 residents in total have tested positive for COVID-19. There are 55 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 67,793 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 19,738 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.
The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 12.0% as of June 16, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 5.4%.
The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 4.8% as of June 16, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 2.3%.
The weekly ISDH County Metrics score released today showed Clinton County with a score of 0.5 an advisory color of Blue. Clinton County’s official advisory level is Yellow.
Clinton County had 83 new cases per 100,000 residents – a score of 1 – and a 7-day positivity rate of 4.03% – a score of 0. The ISDH utilized the results of 6/21/2021, 11:59 p.m. for the purpose of calculating the weekly County Metrics.
The ISDH shows a total of 11,283 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series (an increase of 55 over the previous day) and 11,187 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 33 over the previous day) with 804 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. Statewide, 2,770,179 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 2,758,648 are fully vaccinated with 205,547 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine as of 6/23/2021 at 5:00 a.m.
Additionally, the ISDH announced that 198 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 751,826 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.
To date, 3,564,093 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 3,564,093 on Tuesday.
The Regenstrief Institute updated hospitalization data as of June 22, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. for Clinton County. Data are unique individuals and cumulative.
