Update (6/2/21): 1 New Clinton County Resident Tested Positive For COVID-19 As Reported By The ISDH

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Tuesday, June 2, 2021, Clinton County had 1 new resident who tested positive for COVID-19, 4,343 residents in total have tested positive for COVID-19. There are 53 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 65,499 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 19,443 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 12.2% as of May 26, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 9.5%.

The weekly ISDH County Metrics score released today showed Clinton County with a score of 0.5 an advisory color of Blue. Clinton County’s official advisory level is Blue.

Clinton County had 92 new cases per 100,000 residents – a score of 1 – and a 7-day positivity rate of 4.56% – a score of 0. The ISDH utilized the results of 5/31/2021, 11:59 p.m. for the purpose of calculating the weekly County Metrics.

The ISDH shows a total of 10,811 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series (an increase of 14 over the previous day) and 10,446 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 34 over the previous day) with 696 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. Statewide, 2,657,898 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 2,532,217 are fully vaccinated with 189,119 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine as of 6/2/2021 at 5:00 a.m.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 282 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 744,474 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

To date, 3,504,875 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 3,502,798 on Tuesday.

The Regenstrief Institute updated hospitalization data as of June 1, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. for Clinton County. Data are unique individuals and cumulative.
