INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Friday, February 5, 2021, Clinton County had 1 new death related to COVID-19 and 7 new residents who tested positive for COVID-19, 3,851 residents in total have tested positive for COVID-19. There are now 49 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 47,900 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 17,198 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.
The death is reported to have occurred on Wednesday, February 3, 2021.
The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 11.8% as of January 29, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 15.4%.

The ISDH shows a total of 3,093 Clinton County residents have received the first dose of vaccination and 539 are fully vaccinated. Statewide, 661,033 Hoosiers have received the first dose of vaccination, and 191,247 are fully vaccinated as of 2/5/2021 at 5:00 a.m.
Additionally, the ISDH announced that 1,529 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 635,171 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.
To date, 2,989,069 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 2,983,026 on Thursday.
The Regenstrief Institute released updated hospitalization data as of February 4, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. for Clinton County. Data are unique individuals and cumulative.

The Clinton County Health Department currently has two (2) testing sites operating at the fairgrounds; Optum and the ISDH Community Test Site both inside the Edward Jones Building at the Clinton County Fairgrounds located at 1701 S Jackson St, Frankfort, IN.
Optum runs from 8 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday (not open on holidays) and the ISDH Community Test Site runs from 12 noon to 6 pm Monday through Friday.
The Optum testing site breaks for lunch from 12 noon to 12:30 pm each day with an afternoon break from 3 pm to 3:30m. There are NO appts scheduled for Optum during 12-12:30 or 3-3:30 pm for this site and no walk-ins taken during those break times.
