INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Wednesday, December 22, 2021, Clinton County had 12 additional residents test positive for COVID-19, 6,723 residents in total have tested positives for COVID-19. There are now 84 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 106,495 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 24,790 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.
The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 31.7% as of December 15, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 24.6%.

The weekly ISDH County Metrics score released today showed Clinton County with a score of 2.5 an advisory color of Orange. Clinton County’s official advisory level is Orange.
Clinton County had 604 new cases per 100,000 residents – a score of 3 – and a 7-day positivity rate of 12.52% – a score of 2. The ISDH utilized the results of 12/20/2021, 11:59 p.m. for the purpose of calculating the weekly County Metrics.
The ISDH shows a total of 14,514 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination (an increase of 9 over the previous report) and 14,469 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 10 over the previous report) with 1,105 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. Additionally, 4,673 Booster doses have been administered. Statewide, 3,592,343 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 3,533,145 are fully vaccinated with 271,653 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, and 1,254,879 Booster doses have been administered as of 12/22/2021 at 5:00 a.m.
Additionally, the ISDH announced that 4,813 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 1,200,926 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.
To date, 4,690,162 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 4,682,998 on Tuesday.
The Regenstrief Institute updated hospitalization data as of December 22, 2021, at 6:30 a.m. for Clinton County. Data are unique individuals and cumulative. As of October 27, 2021, Regenstrief Institute will update dashboard data on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (instead of Monday through Friday).
