Update (12/1/20): 1 Death and 48 New Clinton County Residents Tested Positive For COVID-19 As Reported By The ISDH

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Tuesday, December 1, 2020, Clinton County recorded 1 additional death and 48 new residents test positive for COVID-19, 1,977 residents in total have tested positive for COVID-19. There are now 23 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 13,206 unique tests have been administrated to residents of Clinton County as reported by the ISDH.

The death is reported to have taken place Sunday, November 29th.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 20.6% as of November 24, 2020. The State of Indiana as a whole is 21.6%.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 10.2% as of November 24, 2020. The State of Indiana as a whole is 11.0%.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 5,518 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 344,373 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

A total of 5,598 Hoosiers have died to date. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by ISDH and occurred over multiple days.

To date, 2,217,258 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 2,204,581 on Monday.

The Regenstrief Institute released updated hospitalization data as of November 30, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. for Clinton County. Data are unique individuals and cumulative.

The Clinton County Health Department currently has two (2) testing sites operating at the fairgrounds; Optum and the ISDH Community Test Site both inside the Edward Jones Building at the Clinton County Fairgrounds located at 1701 S Jackson St, Frankfort, IN.

Optum runs from 8 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday (not open on holidays) and the ISDH Community Test Site runs from 12 noon to 6 pm Monday through Friday.

The Optum testing site breaks for lunch from 12 noon to 12:30 pm each day with an afternoon break from 3 pm to 3:30m. There are NO appts scheduled for Optum during 12-12:30 or 3-3:30 pm for this site and no walk-ins taken during those break times.
