Update (11/9/21): 1 Death and 11 Additional Clinton County Residents Tested Positive For COVID-19 As Reported By The ISDH

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Tuesday, November 9, 2021, Clinton County had 1 death related to COVID-19 while 11 additional residents test positive for COVID-19, 5,936 residents in total have tested positives for COVID-19. There are now 75 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 96,914 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 23,623 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 19.2% as of November 2, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 16.0%.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 7.3% as of November 2, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 8.0%.

The death is reported to have occurred Saturday, November 6, 2021.

The ISDH shows a total of 13,751 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series (an increase of 12 over the previous report) and 13,839 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 2 over the previous report) with 1,015 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. Additionally, 1,526 Booster doses have been administered. Statewide, 3,371,090 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 3,383,671 are fully vaccinated with 260,155 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, and 503,925 Booster doses have been administered as of 11/8/2021 at 5:00 a.m.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 1,996 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 1,037,109 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

To date, 4,406,481 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 4,403,001 on Monday.

The Regenstrief Institute updated hospitalization data as of November 8, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. for Clinton County. Data are unique individuals and cumulative. As of October 27, 2021, Regenstrief Institute will update dashboard data on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (instead of Monday through Friday).
