Update (11/23/20): 45 New Residents Tested Positive For COVID-19 As Reported By The ISDH

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Monday, November 23, 2020, Clinton County had 45 new residents test positive for COVID-19, 1,749 residents in total have tested positive for COVID-19. There are 20 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 12,657 unique tests have been administrated to residents of Clinton County as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 18.5% as of November 16, 2020. The State of Indiana as a whole is 22.9%.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 11.1% as of November 16, 2020. The State of Indiana as a whole is 11.8%.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 5,606 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 300,913 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

A total of 5,067 Hoosiers have died to date. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by ISDH and occurred over multiple days.

To date, 2,090,728 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 2,072,690 on Sunday.

The Regenstrief Institute released updated hospitalization data as of November 22, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. for Clinton County. Data are unique individuals and cumulative.

Hospital Deaths: 11

Statewide Recovery: 169,211 (65%)
Statewide Deceased: 5,067 (2%)

The Clinton County Health Department currently has two (2) testing sites operating at the fairgrounds; Optum and the ISDH Community Test Site both inside the Edward Jones Building at the Clinton County Fairgrounds located at 1701 S Jackson St, Frankfort, IN.

Optum runs from 8 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday (not open on holidays) and the ISDH Community Test Site runs from 12 noon to 6 pm Monday through Friday.

The Optum testing site breaks for lunch from 12 noon to 12:30 pm each day with an afternoon break from 3 pm to 3:30m. There are NO appts scheduled for Optum during 12-12:30 or 3-3:30 pm for this site and no walk-ins taken during those break times.
