INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Monday, October 4, 2021, Clinton County had 11 additional residents test positive for COVID-19, 5,492 residents in total have tested positives for COVID-19. There are 67 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 89,018 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 22,751 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.
The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 18.3% as of September 27, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 17.9%.

The ISDH shows a total of 13,281 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series (an increase of 51 over the previous report) and 13,296 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 93 over the previous report) with 963 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. Statewide, 3,264,721 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 3,287,689 are fully vaccinated with 251,332 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine as of 10/4/2021 at 5:00 a.m.
Additionally, the ISDH announced that 1,822 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 972,067 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.
To date, 4,218,553 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 4,200,736 on Friday.
The Regenstrief Institute updated hospitalization data as of October 3, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. for Clinton County. Data are unique individuals and cumulative.
