Update (10/22/21): 12 Additional Clinton County Residents Tested Positive For COVID-19 As Reported By The ISDH

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Thursday, October 22, 2021, Clinton County had 12 additional residents test positive for COVID-19, 5,761 residents in total have tested positives for COVID-19. There are 71 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 93,810 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 23,285 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 19.7% as of October 15, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 16.8%.

The ISDH shows a total of 13,519 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series (an increase of 15 over the previous report) and 13,604 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 14 over the previous report) with 996 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. Additionally, 524 Booster doses have been administered. Statewide, 3,314,075 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 3,349,221 are fully vaccinated with 256,076 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, and 260,870 Booster doses have been administered as of 10/22/2021 at 5:00 a.m.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 1,897 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 1,007,681 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

To date, 4,321,182 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 4,315,503 on Thursday.

The Regenstrief Institute updated hospitalization data as of October 21, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. for Clinton County. Data are unique individuals and cumulative.
