INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Thursday, October 21, 2021, Clinton County had 28 additional residents test positive for COVID-19, 5,749 residents in total have tested positives for COVID-19. There are 71 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 93,521 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 23,262 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.
The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 20.2% as of October 14, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 16.8%.

The ISDH shows a total of 13,507 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series (an increase of 17 over the previous report) and 13,594 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 25 over the previous report) with 996 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. Additionally, 517 Booster doses have been administered. Statewide, 3,311,672 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 3,346,653 are fully vaccinated with 255,820 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, and 253,748 Booster doses have been administered as of 10/21/2021 at 5:00 a.m.
Additionally, the ISDH announced that 2,161 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 1,005,797 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.
To date, 4,315,503 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 4,309,438 on Wednesday.
The Regenstrief Institute updated hospitalization data as of October 20, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. for Clinton County. Data are unique individuals and cumulative.
