Update (10/1/21): 14 Additional Clinton County Residents Tested Positive For COVID-19 As Reported By The ISDH

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Friday, October 1, 2021, Clinton County had 14 additional residents test positive for COVID-19, 5,462 residents in total have tested positives for COVID-19. There are 67 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 88,639 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 22,682 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 18.9% as of September 24, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 18.3%.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 6.4% as of September 24, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 9.7%.

The ISDH shows a total of 13,230 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series (an increase of 15 over the previous report) and 13,199 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 15 over the previous report) with 960 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. Statewide, 3,253,451 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 3,270,143 are fully vaccinated with 250,681 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine as of 10/1/2021 at 5:00 a.m.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 3,218 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 965,982 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

To date, 4,200,736 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 4,192,449 on Thursday.

The Regenstrief Institute updated hospitalization data as of September 30, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. for Clinton County. Data are unique individuals and cumulative.

Hospital Deaths: 50

Statewide Recovery: 872,723 (91%)
Statewide Deceased: 15,132 (2%)
Statewide Active: 53,586 (6%)
