INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Tuesday, January 25, 2022, Clinton County had 2 deaths related to COVID-19 while 43 additional residents tested positive for COVID-19, 8,534 residents in total have tested positives for COVID-19. There are now 99 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 115,432 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 26,061 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.
The deaths are reported to have occurred Friday, January 21, 2022, and Monday, January 24, 2022.
The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 41.7% as of January 18, 2022. The State of Indiana as a whole is 45.4%.
The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 24.1% as of January 18, 2022. The State of Indiana as a whole is 30.4%.
The ISDH shows a total of 15,176 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination (an increase of 5 over the previous report) and 14,910 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 9 over the previous report) with 1,131 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. Additionally, 6,344 Booster doses have been administered. Statewide, 3,723,547 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 3,628,923 are fully vaccinated with 277,109 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, and 1,643,166 Booster doses have been administered as of 1/25/2022 at 5:00 a.m.
Additionally, the ISDH announced that 10,164 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 1,569,850 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.
To date, 4,989,377 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 4,982,658 on Tuesday.
The Regenstrief Institute updated hospitalization data as of January 24, at 6:48 a.m. for Clinton County. Data are unique individuals and cumulative. As of October 27, 2021, Regenstrief Institute will update dashboard data on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (instead of Monday through Friday).
