INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Wednesday, January 12, 2022, Clinton County had 81 additional residents tested positive for COVID-19, 7,610 residents in total have tested positives for COVID-19. There are 93 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 111,171 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 25,494 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.
The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 43.8% as of January 5, 2022. The State of Indiana as a whole is 41.3%.
The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 24.5% as of January 5, 2022. The State of Indiana as a whole is 27.8%.
The weekly ISDH County Metrics score released today showed Clinton County with a score of 3.0 an advisory color of Red. Clinton County’s official advisory level is Red.
Clinton County had 1,213 new cases per 100,000 residents – a score of 3 – and a 7-day positivity rate of 22.08% – a score of 3. The ISDH utilized the results of 1/10/2022, 11:59 p.m. for the purpose of calculating the weekly County Metrics.
The ISDH shows a total of 14,972 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination (an increase of 28 over the previous report) and 14,766 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 19 over the previous report) with 1,122 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. Additionally, 5,817 Booster doses have been administered. Statewide, 3,681,354 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 3,591,190 are fully vaccinated with 274,857 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, and 1,520,150 Booster doses have been administered as of 1/12/2022 at 5:00 a.m.
Additionally, the ISDH announced that 15,091 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 1,393,574 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.
To date, 4,863,337 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 4,852,936 on Tuesday.
The Regenstrief Institute updated hospitalization data as of January 12, at 7:10 a.m. for Clinton County. Data are unique individuals and cumulative. As of October 27, 2021, Regenstrief Institute will update dashboard data on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (instead of Monday through Friday).
