The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) has begun releasing case data on positive COVID-19 test results. The information provided is the date of positive test result reported, age group, sex, and county of residence.
As of Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at 11:59 p.m., Clinton County had 25 residents test positive for COVID-19.
Clinton County Today has taken the data to create a visual representation of the breakdown of the count of COVID-19 positive cases by sex and the count by age group & sex.
Of the 25 positive COVID-19 cases, 15 are female with 10 males.
The age group (40-49) has the greatest count with 7 followed by age groups (50-59) and (20-29) each with 5.
Females in the age group (40-49) accounted for 4 cases followed by age groups (50-59) and (80+ ) with 3 each.
Males in the age groups (20-29) and (40-49) accounted for 3 each.
At this time ISDH has not yet provided case data specific to deaths, Clinton County has had 1 death reported as related to COVID-19.
