COVID-19 Vaccinations Moved To Clinton County Fairgrounds

FRANKFORT, Ind. – The Clinton County Health Department announced today that beginning Tuesday, January 26th all Covid vaccines will be given at the Clinton County Fairgrounds, 1701 S Jackson St, Frankfort. They will be located in the Edward Jones building (the 4-H Building).

When you arrive, please park on the South side of the building in the parking lot. You will use the East side entrance.

The appointments do include all second dose appointments that begin February 9, 2021.

The decision to move to this location is to expand their operation for the vaccinations. Please disregard any reference to the 1234 Rossville Ave, Frankfort location in your reminder notices.

Update (1/25/21): 1 Death and 8 New Clinton County Residents Tested Positive For COVID-19 As Reported By The ISDH

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Monday, January 25, 2021, Clinton County recorded 1 death related to COVID-19, and 8 new residents who tested positive for COVID-19, 3,750 residents in total have tested positive for COVID-19. There are now 44 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 45,403 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 16,846 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.

The death is reported to have occurred on Friday, January 22nd.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 20.3% as of January 18, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 18.0%.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 9.2% as of January 18, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 9.6%.

The ISDH shows a total of 1,768 Clinton County residents have received the first dose of vaccination and 209 are fully vaccinated. Statewide, 440,822 Hoosiers have received the first dose of vaccination, and 100,019 are fully vaccinated as of 1/25/2021 at 5:00 a.m.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 2,210 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 613,228 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

A total of 9,352 Hoosiers have died to date. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by ISDH and occurred over multiple days.

To date, 2,907,032 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 2,900,051 on Sunday.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Sunday, January 24, 2021, Clinton County recorded 12 new residents who tested positive for COVID-19, 3,742 residents in total have tested positive for COVID-19. There are 43 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 45,271 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 16,811 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 15.9% as of January 17, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 18.5%.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 8.8% as of January 17, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 9.9%.

The ISDH shows a total of 1,742 Clinton County residents have received the first dose of vaccination and 205 are fully vaccinated. Statewide, 418,892 Hoosiers have received the first dose of vaccination, and 94,461 are fully vaccinated as of 1/23/2021 at 5:00 a.m.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Saturday, January 23, 2021, Clinton County recorded 10 new residents who tested positive for COVID-19, 3,730 residents in total have tested positive for COVID-19. There are 43 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 45,064 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 16,774 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 16.2% as of January 16, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 18.6%.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 8.9% as of January 16, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 10.1%.

The death is reported to have occurred on Wednesday, January 20.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Wednesday, January 20, 2021, Clinton County recorded 4 new residents who tested positive for COVID-19, 3,682 residents in total have tested positive for COVID-19. There are 40 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 44,179 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 16,613 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 18.7% as of January 13, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 21.5%.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 10.9% as of January 13, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 11.9%.

The weekly ISDH County Metrics score released today showed Clinton County with a score of 2.5, an improvement from the previous week. The Clinton County Health Department currently has two (2) testing sites operating at the fairgrounds; Optum and the ISDH Community Test Site both inside the Edward Jones Building at the Clinton County Fairgrounds located at 1701 S Jackson St, Frankfort, IN.

Optum runs from 8 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday (not open on holidays) and the ISDH Community Test Site runs from 12 noon to 6 pm Monday through Friday.

The Optum testing site breaks for lunch from 12 noon to 12:30 pm each day with an afternoon break from 3 pm to 3:30m. There are NO appts scheduled for Optum during 12-12:30 or 3-3:30 pm for this site and no walk-ins taken during those break times.

Update (1/17/21): 9 New Clinton County Residents Tested Positive For COVID-19 As Reported By The ISDH

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Sunday, January 17, 2021, Clinton County recorded 9 new residents who tested positive for COVID-19, 3,645 residents in total have tested positive for COVID-19. There are 39 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 43,654 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 16,510 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 22.3% as of January 10, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 24.2%.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 13.7% as of January 10, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 13.6%.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 3,228 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 590,211 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.
