Update (2/3/21): 1 Death and 4 New Clinton County Residents Tested Positive For COVID-19 As Reported By The ISDH

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Wednesday, February 3, 2021, Clinton County recorded 1 death related to COVID-19 and 4 new residents who tested positive for COVID-19, 3,831 residents in total have tested positive for COVID-19. There are now 46 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 47,557 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 17,132 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.

The death is reported to have occurred on Monday, January 4, 2021.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 14.0% as of January 27, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 16.3%.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 5.9% as of January 27, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 8.1%.

The weekly ISDH County Metrics score released today showed Clinton County with a score of 2.0, the same as the previous week. The County Advisory Color remains at Orange.

Clinton County had 216 new cases per 100,000 residents – a score of 3 – and a 7-day positivity rate of 6.12% – a score of 1. The ISDH utilized the results of 2/1/2021, 11:59 p.m. for the purpose of calculating the weekly County Metrics.

The ISDH shows a total of 2,617 Clinton County residents have received the first dose of vaccination and 421 are fully vaccinated. Statewide, 611,429 Hoosiers have received the first dose of vaccination, and 166,131 are fully vaccinated as of 2/3/2021 at 5:00 a.m.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 1,567 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 629,903 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

A total of 9,677 Hoosiers have died to date. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by ISDH and occurred over multiple days.

To date, 2,968,591 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 2,963,581 on Monday.

Frankfort Fire Department Responds to Structure Fire

FRANKFORT, Ind. – Frankfort firefighters were dispatched at 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, February 2, to
a possible structure fire in the 800 block of South First Street. Upon arrival at 850 S. First Street,
firefighters found smoke rising from the dwelling.

Battalion Chief Jamie Michael called in eight off duty firefighters to cover the rest of the city.
Firefighters made entry and quickly knocked the fire down. By 11:20 a.m., the fire was
extinguished. Firefighters remained on the scene to monitor hot spots before clearing the scene at
12:45 p.m. The dwelling was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.

According to Chief John Kirby, “The teamwork and diligent efforts of our firefighters allowed us
to bring the fire under control quickly and prevent damage to any surrounding houses.”

Fire Investigator Dustin Phillips reported that the fire started in the garage attic before moving to
the house. He has ruled the cause of the damage to be electrical.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Tuesday, February 2, 2021, Clinton County recorded 4 new residents who tested positive for COVID-19, 3,826 residents in total have tested positive for COVID-19. There are 45 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 47,113 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 17,109 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 13.5% as of January 26, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 16.3%.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 6.0% as of January 26, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 8.1%.

The ISDH shows a total of 2,362 Clinton County residents have received the first dose of vaccination and 397 are fully vaccinated. Statewide, 586,937 Hoosiers have received the first dose of vaccination, and 155,362 are fully vaccinated as of 2/2/2021 at 5:00 a.m.

There are 45 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 47,011 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 17,093 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 12.9% as of January 25, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 16.7%.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 6.1% as of January 25, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 8.3%.

The ISDH shows a total of 1,892 Clinton County residents have received the first dose of vaccination and 257 are fully vaccinated. Statewide, 477,326 Hoosiers have received the first dose of vaccination, and 112,855 are fully vaccinated as of 1/27/2021 at 5:00 a.m.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 2,260 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 617,176 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

A total of 9,470 Hoosiers have died to date. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by ISDH and occurred over multiple days.

To date, 2,920,127 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 2,912,183 on Tuesday.

Optum runs from 8 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday (not open on holidays) and the ISDH Community Test Site runs from 12 noon to 6 pm Monday through Friday.

The Optum testing site breaks for lunch from 12 noon to 12:30 pm each day with an afternoon break from 3 pm to 3:30m. There are NO appts scheduled for Optum during 12-12:30 or 3-3:30 pm for this site and no walk-ins taken during those break times.

Update (1/26/21): 1 Death and 6 New Clinton County Residents Tested Positive For COVID-19 As Reported By The ISDH

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Tuesday, January 26, 2021, Clinton County recorded 1 death related to COVID-19 and 6 new residents who tested positive for COVID-19, 3,758 residents in total have tested positive for COVID-19. There are now 45 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 45,553 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 16,865 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.

The death is reported to have occurred on Sunday, January 24th.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 19.5% as of January 19, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 17.7%.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 8.4% as of January 19, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 9.3%.
