Update (4/23/21): 4 New Clinton County Residents Tested Positive For COVID-19 As Reported By The ISDH

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Friday, April 23, 2021, Clinton County had 4 new residents who tested positive for COVID-19, 4,222 residents in total have tested positive for COVID-19. There are 53 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 60,185 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 18,820 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 11.8% as of April 16, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 13.4%.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 5.8% as of April 16, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 5.0%.

The ISDH shows a total of 9,629 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series (an increase of 41 over the previous day) and 7,037 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 175 over the previous day) with 409 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. Statewide, 2,253,551 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 1,685,255 are fully vaccinated with 132,926 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine as of 4/23/2021 at 5:00 a.m.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Thursday, April 22, 2021, Clinton County had 10 new residents who tested positive for COVID-19, 4,218 residents in total have tested positive for COVID-19. There are 53 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 60,081 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 18,803 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 12.1% as of April 15, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 13.4%.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 6.0% as of April 15, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 5.0%.

The ISDH shows a total of 9,589 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series (an increase of 48 over the previous day) and 6,863 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 192 over the previous day) with 409 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Wednesday, April 21, 2021, Clinton County had 7 new residents who tested positive for COVID-19, 4,209 residents in total have tested positive for COVID-19. There are 53 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 59,907 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 18,793 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 10.0% as of April 14, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 13.8%.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 5.7% as of April 14, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 5.2%.

The weekly ISDH County Metrics score released today showed Clinton County with a score of 1.5 an advisory color of Yellow. Clinton County’s official advisory level is Yellow.

Everett N. Case Historical Marker Dedication Set

FRANKFORT, Ind. – In recent weeks, Clinton County’s only Historical Marker was erected outside of Case Arena on the grounds of Frankfort High School. A fitting location, as the marker is dedicated to the Hot Dogs legendary basketball coach, Everett Case.

The official dedication is set for Wednesday, April 28th at 4 p.m. in front of the historical marker.

The two-sided historical marker captures a brief history of the coach that led the Hot Dogs to four state basketball championships over the 1920s and 1930s.

The front reads: “Hall of Famer Everett Case, known for his basketball strategies and promotion of the sport, began his high school coaching career at age 19. After stints at Columbus and Smithville, he coached Frankfort for 17 seasons starting in 1922. He led his teams, known as the “Hot Dogs,” to state titles in 1925, 1929, 1936, 1939. Case coached at his alma mater Anderson, 1931-33.”

The back reads: “As a Naval officer during WWII, Case coached aviation cadet teams at DePauw and in Iowa. From 1946-1964, he coached the North Carolina State “Wolfpack” to six Southern and four Atlantic Coast Conference titles. The animated “Old Grey Fox” was a three-time conference coach of the year. He popularized basketball in North Carolina through his success and showmanship.”

Coach Case was inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame in 1968 and the Basketball Hall of Fame on May 3, 1982.

Update (4/15/21): 11 New Clinton County Residents Tested Positive For COVID-19 As Reported By The ISDH

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Thursday, April 15, 2021, Clinton County had 11 new residents who tested positive for COVID-19, 4,160 residents in total have tested positive for COVID-19. There are 53 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 58,930 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 18,654 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 16.6% as of April 8, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 13.3%.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 6.1% as of April 8, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 5.0%.

The ISDH shows a total of 9,136 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series (an increase of 167 over the previous day) and 6,230 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 137 over the previous day) with 408 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. Statewide, 2,091,055 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 1,497,753 are fully vaccinated with 131,665 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine as of 4/14/2021 at 5:00 a.m.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 1,408 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 703,345 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

To date, 3,316,399 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 3,311,123 on Wednesday.

The Regenstrief Institute released updated hospitalization data as of April 14, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. for Clinton County. Data are unique individuals and cumulative.

There are 53 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 58,728 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 18,628 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 16.6% as of April 7, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 13.2%.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 6.5% as of April 7, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 4.9%.

The weekly ISDH County Metrics score released today showed Clinton County with a score of 1.5 an advisory color of Yellow. Clinton County’s official advisory level is Yellow.

Clinton County had 160 new cases per 100,000 residents – a score of 2 – and a 7-day positivity rate of 5.36% – a score of 1. The ISDH utilized the results of 4/12/2021, 11:59 p.m. for the purpose of calculating the weekly County Metrics.

The ISDH shows a total of 8,967 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series (an increase of 178 over the previous day) and 6,092 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 264 over the previous day) with 408 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. Statewide, 2,054,305 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 1,465,361 are fully vaccinated with 131,329 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine as of 4/14/2021 at 5:00 a.m.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 1,233 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories.
