Update (5/27/21): 1 Death and 2 New Clinton County Residents Tested Positive For COVID-19 As Reported By The ISDH

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Thursday, May 27, 2021, Clinton County had 1 newly reported death related to COVID-19 and 2 new residents who tested positive for COVID-19, 4,323 residents in total have tested positive for COVID-19. There are 53 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 65,210 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 19,392 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.

The death is reported to have occurred on Sunday, May 16, 2021.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 10.6% as of May 20, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 10.3%.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 4.3% as of May 20, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 4.8%.

The ISDH shows a total of 10,715 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series (an increase of 57 over the previous day) and 10,308 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 58 over the previous day) with 663 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Wednesday, May 26, 2021, Clinton County had 9 new residents who tested positive for COVID-19, 4,321 residents in total have tested positive for COVID-19. There are 53 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 64,954 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 19,382 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 8.3% as of May 19, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 10.3%.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 3.5% as of May 19, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 4.8%.

The weekly ISDH County Metrics score released today showed Clinton County with a score of 0.5 an advisory color of Blue. Clinton County’s official advisory level is Blue.

Prairie Creek Park Grand Opening Saturday, May 22

FRANKFORT, Ind. – Prairie Creek Park, located in downtown Frankfort at 260 E. Washington St., will officially open on Saturday, May 22, 2021, when the City of Frankfort hosts a public ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Mayor Judy Sheets invites the public to attend and enjoy the fun activities planned for the day.

“We are excited to share this park with the community and hope it will give our residents a wonderful space to build memories and enjoy quality entertainment,” said Mayor Sheets.

The festivities will begin at 4 p.m. with a concert by local band, Lloyd Avenue, followed by The Warrior Kings who perform at 6 p.m. The headliner for the evening is Endless Summer Bank, sponsored by The Farmers Bank and performing on The Farmers Bank Performance Center Stage at 8:30 p.m.

Food vendors will be available all evening and the Prairie Creek Park splash pad will be open to the public from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Park benches and wall seats are available in the park plaza. Visitors to the park are also welcome to bring blankets and lawn chairs for additional seating in the lawn area.

Prairie Creek Park will host additional events during the 2021 season including a concert on June 19 featuring Sunny Thurnall and Jason Pritchett, a concert on August 21 featuring Attaboy and 45 RPMs, and the Hispanic Heritage Festival on September 18.

Update (5/19/21): 6 New Clinton County Residents Tested Positive For COVID-19 As Reported By The ISDH

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Wednesday, May 19, 2021, Clinton County had 6 new residents who tested positive for COVID-19, 4,292 residents in total have tested positive for COVID-19. There are 53 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 64,125 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 19,267 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 2.2% as of May 12, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 10.4%.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 1.4% as of May 12, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 4.8%.

The weekly ISDH County Metrics score released today showed Clinton County with a score of 0.5 an advisory color of Blue. Clinton County’s official advisory level is Blue.

Clinton County had 30 new cases per 100,000 residents – a score of 1 – and a 7-day positivity rate of 1.56% – a score of 0. The ISDH utilized the results of 5/17/2021, 11:59 p.m. for the purpose of calculating the weekly County Metrics.

The ISDH shows a total of 10,418 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series (an increase of 74 over the previous day) and 9,913 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 126 over the previous day) with 572 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. Statewide, 2,539,739 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 2,346,698 are fully vaccinated with 172,835 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine as of 5/19/2021 at 5:00 a.m.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 819 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 737,282 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

To date, 3,461,505 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 3,457,544 on Tuesday.

The Regenstrief Institute released updated hospitalization data as of May 18, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. for Clinton County. Data are unique individuals and cumulative.

There are 53 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 63,869 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 19,234 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 2.2% as of May 11, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 10.9%.

Statewide, 2,527,727 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 2,326,908 are fully vaccinated with 171,599 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine as of 5/18/2021 at 5:00 a.m.
