INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Thursday, January 27, 2022, Clinton County had 73 additional residents tested positive for COVID-19, 8,632 residents in total have tested positives for COVID-19. There are 99 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 115,820 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 26,110 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.
The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 39.6% as of January 20, 2022. The State of Indiana as a whole is 45.8%.
The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 28.3% as of January 20, 2022. The State of Indiana as a whole is 30.7%.
The ISDH shows a total of 15,190 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination (an increase of 14 over the previous report) and 14,954 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 40 over the previous report) with 1,132 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. Additionally, 6,376 Booster doses have been administered. Statewide, 3,727,729 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 3,634,497 are fully vaccinated with 277,328 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, and 1,652,611 Booster doses have been administered as of 1/27/2022 at 5:00 a.m.
Additionally, the ISDH announced that 12,230 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 1,587,005 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.
To date, 45,000,442 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 4,992,797 on Wednesday.
The Regenstrief Institute updated hospitalization data as of January 26, at 7:54 a.m. for Clinton County. Data are unique individuals and cumulative. As of October 27, 2021, Regenstrief Institute will update dashboard data on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (instead of Monday through Friday).
