INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Wednesday, January 26, 2022, Clinton County had 27 additional residents tested positive for COVID-19, 8,560 residents in total have tested positives for COVID-19. There are now 99 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 115,615 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 26,082 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.
The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 41.9% as of January 19, 2022. The State of Indiana as a whole is 45.7%.

The weekly ISDH County Metrics score released today showed Clinton County with a score of 3.0 an advisory color of Red. Clinton County’s official advisory level is Red.
Clinton County had 1,743 new cases per 100,000 residents – a score of 3 – and a 7-day positivity rate of 22.97% – a score of 3. The ISDH utilized the results of 1/24/2022, 11:59 p.m. for the purpose of calculating the weekly County Metrics.
The ISDH shows a total of 15,175 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination (an increase of 4 over the previous report) and 14,913 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 6 over the previous report) with 1,131 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. Additionally, 6,349 Booster doses have been administered. Statewide, 3,725,541 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 3,631,349 are fully vaccinated with 277,228 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, and 1,647,897 Booster doses have been administered as of 1/26/2022 at 5:00 a.m.
Additionally, the ISDH announced that 5,536 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 1,574,807 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.
To date, 4,992,797 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 4,989,377 on Tuesday.
The Regenstrief Institute updated hospitalization data as of January 26, at 7:54 a.m. for Clinton County. Data are unique individuals and cumulative. As of October 27, 2021, Regenstrief Institute will update dashboard data on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (instead of Monday through Friday).
