INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Tuesday, January 11, 2022, Clinton County had 1 death related to COVID-19 while 28 additional residents tested positive for COVID-19, 7,529 residents in total have tested positives for COVID-19. There are now 93 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 110,808 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 25,450 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.
The death is reported to have occurred Friday, December 10, 2021.
The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 43.3% as of January 4, 2022. The State of Indiana as a whole is 40.1%.
The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 23.1% as of January 4, 2022. The State of Indiana as a whole is 26.9%.
The ISDH shows a total of 14,944 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination (an increase of 22 over the previous report) and 14,745 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 9 over the previous report) with 1,119 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. Additionally, 5,776 Booster doses have been administered. Statewide, 3,676,226 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 3,587,376 are fully vaccinated with 274,618 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, and 1,506,810 Booster doses have been administered as of 1/11/2022 at 5:00 a.m.
Additionally, the ISDH announced that 11,932 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 1,378,562 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.
To date, 4,852,936 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 4,844,040 on Monday.
The Regenstrief Institute updated hospitalization data as of January 10, at 6:31 a.m. for Clinton County. Data are unique individuals and cumulative. As of October 27, 2021, Regenstrief Institute will update dashboard data on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (instead of Monday through Friday).
