INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Tuesday, December 28, 2021, Clinton County had 1 death related to COVID-19 while 22 additional residents tested positive for COVID-19, 6,900 residents in total have tested positives for COVID-19. There are now 85 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 107,457 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 24,978 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.
The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 32.5% as of December 21, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 23.9%.
The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 16.0% as of December 21, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 13.8%.
The ISDH shows a total of 14,595 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination (an increase of 30 over the previous report) and 14,528 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 14 over the previous report) with 1,107 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. Additionally, 4,939 Booster doses have been administered. Statewide, 3,611,838 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 3,545,779 are fully vaccinated with 272,237 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, and 1,321,922 Booster doses have been administered as of 12/28/2021 at 5:00 a.m.
Additionally, the ISDH announced that 5,815 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 1,227,005 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.
To date, 4,728,751 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 4,690,162 on Wednesday.
The Regenstrief Institute updated hospitalization data as of December 27, 2021, at 7:12 a.m. for Clinton County. Data are unique individuals and cumulative. As of October 27, 2021, Regenstrief Institute will update dashboard data on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (instead of Monday through Friday).
