INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Thursday, December 16, 2021, Clinton County had 2 deaths and 46 additional residents test positive for COVID-19, 6,587 residents in total have tested positives for COVID-19. There are now 84 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 105,193 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 24,626 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.
Both deaths are reported to have occurred Tuesday, December 14, 2021.
The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 25.5% as of December 9, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 25.5%.
The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 12.3% as of December 9, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 14.0%.
The ISDH shows a total of 14,453 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination (an increase of 32 over the previous report) and 14,441 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 45 over the previous report) with 1,105 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. Additionally, 4,303 Booster doses have been administered. Statewide, 3,564,608 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 3,515,356 are fully vaccinated with 270,477 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, and 1,143,869 Booster doses have been administered as of 12/16/2021 at 5:00 a.m.
Additionally, the ISDH announced that 5,486 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 1,176,411 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.
To date, 4,649,119 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 4,639,958 on Wednesday.
The Regenstrief Institute updated hospitalization data as of December 15, 2021, at 7:07 a.m. for Clinton County. Data are unique individuals and cumulative. As of October 27, 2021, Regenstrief Institute will update dashboard data on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (instead of Monday through Friday).
