Update (9/3/21): 20 New Clinton County Residents Tested Positive For COVID-19 As Reported By The ISDH

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Friday, September 3, 2021, Clinton County had 20 residents test positive for COVID-19, 5,060 residents in total have tested positives for COVID-19. There are now 62 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 80,741 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 21,716 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 12.7% as of August 27, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 19.2%.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of all tests for Clinton County is 5.7% as of August 27, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 11.5%.

The ISDH shows a total of 12,700 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series (an increase of 23 over the previous report) and 12,552 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 17 over the previous report) with 925 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. Statewide, 3,140,793 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 3,119,002 are fully vaccinated with 240,275 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine as of 9/3/2021 at 5:00 a.m.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 5,079 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 873,480 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

To date, 3,960,242 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 3,932,278 on Thursday.

The Regenstrief Institute updated hospitalization data as of September 2, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. for Clinton County. Data are unique individuals and cumulative.

Hospital Deaths: 44

Statewide Recovery: 770,198 (89%)
Statewide Deceased: 14,101 (2%)
Statewide Active: 67,120 (8%)
