INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Friday, July 16, 2021, Clinton County had 8 new residents test positive for COVID-19, 4,508 residents in total have tested positive for COVID-19. There are 55 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 69,771 total tests have been administered to residents of Clinton County, of which 20,099 have been unique tests as reported by the ISDH.
The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 4.1% as of July 9, 2021. The State of Indiana as a whole is 4.7%.

The ISDH shows a total of 11,813 Clinton County residents have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series (an increase of 14 over the previous report) and 11,763 are fully vaccinated (an increase of 21 over the previous report) with 858 Clinton County residents receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, a single-dose vaccine. Statewide, 2,857,784 Hoosiers have received the first of a two-dose vaccination series, 2,888,389 are fully vaccinated with 216,711 from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine as of 7/16/2021 at 5:00 a.m.
Additionally, the ISDH announced that 586 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and private laboratories. That brings to 759,618 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.
To date, 3,628,580 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 3,625,957 on Thursday.
The Regenstrief Institute updated hospitalization data as of July 15, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. for Clinton County. Data are unique individuals and cumulative.
